Hello and welcome to Trash Panda Edits! We're here to provide roleplayers of all verses quality layouts for their account in addition to providing aesthetic edits for solos, shipping partner posts, or whatever else you might need to make your roleplay account look spiffy! We do this absolutely for free - we simply enjoy creating layouts and edits and wish to share with the roleplay fandom on twitter or tumblr.Here on our carrd you'll find rules for requests, frequently asked questions, examples of our work, and whether or not requests are open at the time. Ready to request? Please read the rules below, and beneath that will be the form for you to fill out and send via a DM to @trashpandaedits!

Before you request a profile picture, header, both, or aesthetic edit for a post we request you read our rules beforehand, and in your request form just so we know you've read our rules - just add any flower emoji 🌸 you'd like! Thank you for understanding!1. We reserve the right to decline any requests for whatever reason we see fit.
2. We do not edit artwork unless you yourself are the artist, or in the case of commissioned artwork, you have the artist personally give us permission that it is okay for us to edit their work. We do not stand for art theft, and if we find out you have given us stolen artwork to edit, (and we will reverse image search to check.) you will be banned from making further requests. The only exception is official artwork from things such as anime or video games. We. will. not. edit. fan. artists. work. It is highly disrespectful, and we do not tolerate it.
3. While we will not edit any explicit photos. We are okay with doing layouts and edits for lewd accounts, but we may not be the right fit for you if you wish for an explicit nudity layout. Again, we reserve the right to decline a request if we do not feel we're capable of making a layout up to our standards. An example of a lewd account layout we did can be seen below:

4. Please be patient. Currently there is only one admin, (you may call me Kate, or simply Admin Trash Panda!) While I do tend to hyperfocus and sometimes can be quick, other times it might take me longer to get things just right, especially having to deal with Twitter's rather annoying space constraints. Please be patient <3
5. You will be sent a 'first draft' of sorts at which time you can request any edits, tweaks, etc to ensure it is to your liking. After that, we will edit it as you've asked and send you the final draft!
6. We will put a watermark on our edits, and we will do our best to ensure it does not affect the quality of your layout or edits or otherwise take up a lot of space. We still ask that you provide proper credit in your bio or profile somewhere just as a courtesy <3
7. DO NOT STEAL OTHER PEOPLE'S LAYOUTS WE HAVE CREATED! From time to time we may release free layouts for anyone to use, and they will not be limited to one person claiming them. But please do not steal a layout that someone has personally requested from us.
8. Unless you provide us with the specific photos you wish for your layout, we will do our best to find photos that match what you want. Please be aware however that if you do provide screenshots/pictures for us to use, we may not always be able to use them due to Twitter's space constraints. For reference: Twitter's profile picture sizes are: 400x400 pixels

We will always try our best to accommodate, but please be aware we might not always be able to use the photos given to us. We do typically, before sending you any rough drafts, test to ensure that any profile pictures or headers are fitting correctly (and if it's taking a bit long for us to get to you- that is probably why!)
9. We of course provide these edits for free, but we do have our ko-fi linked on twitter if you feel we've done a satisfactory job and are able to tip us but it is never expected, but always appreciated!
10. As this is something we do in our spare time and for free: Please do not be overly demanding, pushy or rude. We will always do our best to bring your designs to life, and that is why we will always send you a rough draft for us to make any edits. If you're found to be excessively rude or disrespectful, we will no longer take requests from you.
11. We do not tolerate any sort of hatred or bigotry, we will NOT make any layouts, or edits that promote racism, transphobia, homophobia, pedophilia, or anything illegal. Do not ask.
12. At this time, to ensure quality and timeliness, we will only be taking on Three (3) requests at time. This may change in the future, but we will always keep you updated when requests are open or closed. When requests are closed, so will our DMs. If you send in a DM before we manage to close them, you will be first on the list when we re-open requests!

If we are alerted that any of our prior edits/layouts that were created for others are being used without permission, you will be asked to take it down. If you refuse, you will be blocked and unable to make requests for your own personal usage layouts. Anything listed here has already been made expressly for someone else.Beneath the initial example pictures of our work, there are free to claim edits/layouts/etc that are open for anyone to claim and use. While these are from various verses and typically made at the admin's discretion of what they are currently into - they are open for anyone to claim and use. What programs do you use to edit?We use a combination of PicsArt Gold on mobile, and final editing touches on Pixlr.com! Highly recommend both!Are you able to make icons with transparent backgrounds?
Yes! We learned the trick, and while it is... annoying (thank you Twitter), we can do it!Why don't you do explicit nudity edits?Mainly because we just simply choose not too. It's not particularly a prudish thing, we just simply don't wish to edit other people's nudes, especially if we're not sure if they are someone's personal nudes or otherwise. Modeling and lingerie shots are fine, as they are usually... well, models. If we feel they are personal photos taken by someone for personal usage, we will more than likely deny your request.You denied my request! Why?!If we've denied your request, we will always tell you why. Either because we don't feel we can create what it is you're looking for, you did not read the rules and are asking for something we do not do, or you were being rude and disrespectful. But if we decline a request, we will provide a reason at the time.Are there any verses you will not do requests for?
As stated in the rules, anything that is illegal, -phobic, or racist, we will automatically deny. We will not be doing any layouts for 'shota' or 'loli' accounts, and we reserve the right to deny your request if we find out that even if your character does not fall under any of the above categories, but you roleplay with those that do take part in illegal and otherwise harmful rhetoric, we will deny your request. We do not wish to be associated in anyway with such things.
We will also not be taking any requests that fetishize any certain races, and if we feel your request is fetishizing a person for their ethnicity, we will have no part in it.
Other than that, even if we are not part of a specific verse/fandom, we are open to making layouts for them, we may just ask you to point us in the right direction to find photos to use for your requests!Someone took the layout you made for me, what should I do?
We're really sorry if this happens, please let us know ASAP so we can DM the person in question to have them take it down. Unfortunately though, people like that are usually highly unlikely to take down what they stole, and if that is the case - when our current requests are complete we will do our best to provide you a new layout to make up for it if at all possible and we have the time.Your edits and layouts suck
Not a question, but if you believe as such then by all means - take the time to teach yourself how to edit and make your own layouts rather than wasting your breath.I'm not quite happy with the final draft of what I requested even after my edit requests from the first draft, is there something that can be done?
We're very sorry to hear if you're not satisfied with the end product. There's a few things we can do - one, you are free to edit whatever it is yourself as you see fit so long as you give us credit for the original edit. If you'd still like to place faith in us to get it right, we can take a look at it, discuss what you'd like to change and do our best to achieve your desired look! Please be aware however if this the option you choose, those who have current requests waiting are prioritized first. Thank you!WHAT'S TAKING SO LONG?
We're very sorry if you feel your request is taking longer than usual. Currently we have (1) admin, hence why we are only taking on 3 requests at a time. This may change in the future. However our admin does have a life outside twitter and editing photos, and if it's taking a little bit longer, please be patient. We want to ensure the highest quality for you, and sometimes that takes time! However we will absolutely try to get your request back to you in a few days at most, so please don't make a request and then an hour later demand to know where it is. We will simply not allow you to make further requests if you are pushy or rude.Why aren't your DMs open? I want to make a request!
If our DMs are not open, it means our requests are full at the moment and will open up once we have completed them. We will always tweet when requests are open and do our best to keep the front page of our carrd updated with whether or not requests are opened/closed.I'd like to tip you for my edit/layout! It's mostly a tongue in cheek, self deprecating joke! Plus while raccoons are ofc wild animals that you should never mess with, the little trash pandas can be adorable when they want to be.
